One credit is one minute of footage.

Your plan gives you credits, and 1 credit is 1 minute of footage you feed in. Clipping uses one credit per minute of footage, and covers every clip that comes out of it. Drop in a three-hour stream and pull forty clips from it, and you have used 180 credits, not forty clips. The same credits pay for Beat Edits (1 each) and the AI tools, up to each plan's monthly AI allowance, and every button shows its price in credits before you press it.

Because a 4-minute podcast cut and a 6-hour marathon stream are not the same job, and charging one price for both means someone is always overpaying. Billing by the minute of footage tracks the work we actually do, so the bill tracks what you actually used.

AI Studio (covers, B-roll, hooks and Spotify Canvases from 15 image and video models) is priced per click in the same credits: an AI cover is 18 credits, an animated B-roll shot 50, an AI hook 56, a Spotify Canvas 96 and a cinematic Seedance hook 224. It comes with Clipper, Pro and Studio, and each plan can put part of its monthly credits into AI: up to 250 on Clipper, 800 on Pro and 2,400 on Studio. Credits from a pack work on AI with no limit. The free trial's credits are for clipping and Beat Edit; credits you buy work on AI from day one. If the AI provider fails, blocks or cancels a generation, its credits come back automatically.

No. Your plan's credits are issued each billing month and reset when it renews, so unused plan credits do not carry over. Credits you buy in a pack are different: they never expire.

You are never cut off in the middle of a job. Add 500 credits for $12 as many times as you need, or upgrade in Settings. An upgrade is charged when you confirm it, less the value of unused time on your current plan, and its full credits start straight away with a new billing month.

On Pro and Studio, yes: paste the link and we fetch the video at 720p, up to 10 hours (Pro) or 20 hours (Studio) of YouTube each billing month. For full 1080p, on Clipper, or once that allowance is used, upload the video file instead. Twitch and Kick links work on every plan.

You are charged in your own currency (pounds in the UK, euros across the EU, dollars everywhere else) at a price set for that market rather than converted from the dollar one. Prices on this page are shown before tax; your country's VAT is added on top and the exact total is itemised before you pay.

Yes, in Settings ("Cancel plan"), with no call or email needed. You keep your plan and the credits you have already paid for until the end of the period you have paid for.

The first 100 Clipper accounts pay the founding rate for life, as long as the subscription stays active. Once the 100 seats are gone, Clipper is its list price. Cancel and come back later and you rejoin at the list price; the founding rate is not restored.

The credits go back to your balance automatically. You are never charged for a video we could not process, and an AI generation that the AI provider fails, blocks or cancels gives its credits back the same way.
