Cookie Policy

JustClip uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. This page lists what we use. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” and “session storage” are similar: they let a site remember something on your device. The law says we must tell you about them and, unless they are strictly necessary, ask for your agreement.

2. Essential cookies

These are needed to sign you in and keep your account secure. JustClip doesn't work without them, so they don't need your consent. The names may carry a __Secure- or __Host- prefix.

3. Referral cookie

This cookie isn't used for anything else and isn't shared with anyone. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings without affecting how JustClip works.

4. Settings stored in your browser

We use your browser's local and session storage to remember choices you make, so you don't have to make them again. This data stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

  • the country you chose for showing prices;
  • editor preferences, such as zoom level and whether you've seen the editor intro;
  • messages you've dismissed, so they don't keep coming back.

5. Analytics

When enabled, we measure how the site is used with Plausible Analytics, which doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you, and PostHog, which we set up to run without cookies or browser storage. Neither is used for advertising.

6. Cookies set by other services

  • Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages to process payments and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
  • Google and Apple set their own cookies on their sign-in pages if you choose to sign in with them.

7. Controlling cookies

You can see and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies you won't be able to sign in. Questions about cookies go to [email protected].
